  • Licence to take fauna for scientific purposes

    To undertake scientific activities under the provisions of Wildlife Conservation Act 1950.
    Apply online via the Wildlife Licensing System.
    Please note: applications for activities on CALM managed lands/waters no longer require a separate Regulation 4 application, as provision of the relevant lawful authority is incorporated into the Regulation 17 application via the online Wildlife Licensing System.

  • Licence to keep fauna for educational or public purposes – application to acquire - Regulation 16

    Application for existing Regulation 16 licensees to acquire new fauna.

  • Reptile removal 

    A reptile removalist’s licence covers the capture and removal from, in or near any residential premises or other premises frequented by people, any herpetofauna that are likely to suffer harm if not removed from those premises and any venomous snakes or other reptiles that may be perceived to pose a threat to the safety of persons at those premises or to their pets or livestock.
