The Houtman Abrolhos Islands National Park draft management plan 2021 has been released for public comment. The draft management plan has been prepared for the Houtman Abrolhos Islands National Park, located approximately 60km west of Geraldton, in the Midwest Region of Western Australia.

The park, which is vested in the Conservation and Parks Commission, comprises 189 islands (or parts of islands) of the 210 islands within the Houtman Abrolhos archipelago. The draft management plan outlines how the values of the park will be protected and how management will encourage people to enjoy the area in a sustainable manner so that the park’s important values are maintained for future generations.

You are invited to have your say on how this park will be managed into the future.

The draft management plan is open for public comment.
