The Bush Rangers WA program offers a number of reward experiences to those Bush Rangers who have demonstrated excellence in their units. These hands-on, activities provide opportunities to develop skills and experience while working alongside some amazing and highly skilled people including scientists, field leaders, rangers, wildlife carers and people who fight fires, all of whom share their practical experience and conservation knowledge with the cadets.

These experiences greatly enrich the program and help demonstrate the range of career options available within the field of nature conservation while at the same time inspiring them to follow their passion and gain the necessary skills, experience and qualifications required to work in the field.

The Rewards in 2014 are:

  • Perup Field Ecology Centre, April
  • Millstream National Park, July
  • Shark Bay World Heritage Area, October
