Western Australia has a beautiful, diverse, and supportive environment that provides material, aesthetic and spiritual benefits. These values should be regarded as an essential part of the livelihood and quality of life of all Western Australians, including people with disabilities. People with disabilities are among visitors to parks and recreation facilities managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions. They are among people seeking information from department public counters, and are included among departmental employees.
The DAIP now includes Outcome 7 "People with disability have the same opportunities as other people to obtain and maintain employment with the department".
